Plan Terms
COMA Media Server – Plan Terms
Last Updated: 9 May 2026
These Plan Terms govern the purchase, setup, use, suspension, revocation, and management of COMA Media Server software plans, access keys, subscriptions, account entitlements, and related digital access rights.
By purchasing, activating, installing, downloading, accessing, or using COMA Media Server ("COMA", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to these Plan Terms, together with our Terms and Conditions, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and any other applicable policies published on comamediaserver.com.
1. plan Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Plan Terms, COMA grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable plan to install and use COMA Media Server in accordance with the plan tier purchased or assigned to your account.
This is a plan to use the software. It is not a sale of the software, source code, platform, intellectual property, brand, or underlying technology.
2. plan Ownership
All COMA software, branding, interfaces, code, designs, documentation, plan systems, APIs, and related intellectual property remain owned by COMA Media Server or its licensors.
You do not acquire ownership of COMA software or any part of the COMA platform by purchasing or activating a plan.
3. plan Types and Limits
COMA plans may include limits or conditions, including but not limited to:
- Number of permitted users;
- Number of permitted profiles;
- Number of permitted servers or installations;
- Number of permitted devices;
- Commercial or non-commercial use restrictions;
- Feature access;
- Subscription status;
- plan duration or expiry date;
- setup count;
- Device or server fingerprint restrictions.
Your plan tier determines what you are permitted to do.
4. server setup and Verification
COMA plans may require online account checks and periodic verification with COMA plan servers.
plan verification may process information such as access key, installation ID, device fingerprint, server identifier, account email, IP address, plan tier, setup status, and subscription state.
If COMA cannot verify a plan, access to paid or protected features may be restricted, suspended, or disabled.
5. No plan Transfers
COMA plans are issued to the original purchaser, account, email address, installation, server, device, business, or organisation recorded at the time of purchase or setup.
plans must not be sold, transferred, assigned, gifted after setup, leased, rented, sublicensed, resold, shared outside the permitted plan tier, bundled with other products, or moved between unrelated parties without our prior written consent.
Any attempted unauthorised transfer may result in immediate suspension or revocation without refund.
6. Device or Server Changes
Where a plan is linked to a device, server, installation, or setup fingerprint, you may need to contact COMA to request resetup after a legitimate reinstall, hardware replacement, operating system reinstall, or server migration.
Resetup is discretionary and may be refused where we believe the request involves misuse, transfer to another party, resale, account sharing, plan abuse, or breach of these Plan Terms.
7. plan Revocation Rights
COMA reserves the right to suspend, restrict, disable, revoke, terminate, or refuse renewal of any plan, account, setup, subscription, or access entitlement where we consider it necessary or appropriate.
This may include circumstances where we believe, suspect, or determine that:
- The plan has been misused;
- The plan has been transferred, resold, shared, or assigned without permission;
- The plan has been obtained using fraudulent, stolen, disputed, or reversed payment details;
- A chargeback, payment dispute, refund abuse, or billing issue has occurred;
- The user has breached these Plan Terms, the Terms and Conditions, Refund Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Copyright Complaint Policy, or any other COMA policy;
- The plan is being used to operate, support, or facilitate copyright infringement, piracy, unlawful streaming, fraud, abuse, or illegal activity;
- The user has attempted to bypass, disable, tamper with, reverse engineer, or interfere with plan verification;
- The user has attacked, overloaded, scraped, abused, or interfered with COMA servers, APIs, systems, or infrastructure;
- The access key, account, or setup has been leaked, compromised, publicly posted, or exposed;
- Continuing access may create legal, operational, security, reputational, financial, or compliance risk to COMA, its users, rights holders, or third parties;
- We otherwise deem revocation, restriction, or suspension necessary to protect COMA, our platform, users, systems, rights, legal position, or business interests.
Where legally permitted, plan suspension or revocation may occur without prior notice and without refund.
8. Discretionary Revocation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, COMA may revoke, suspend, restrict, or refuse a plan where we reasonably consider such action necessary, appropriate, or justified in the circumstances.
This discretion is intended to protect the integrity of the COMA platform, account system, payment systems, users, rights holders, and lawful operation of the service.
Nothing in this section limits any consumer rights or statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. No Refund Following Breach
Where a plan is suspended, restricted, revoked, or terminated due to breach, misuse, fraud, chargeback, unauthorised transfer, piracy, unlawful activity, or violation of COMA policies, no refund will be due unless required by law.
10. Prohibited plan Conduct
You must not:
- Share access keys beyond the permitted tier;
- Sell or transfer access keys;
- Use one plan for multiple unrelated parties or organisations;
- Bypass user, device, server, or access limits;
- Modify the software to remove account checks;
- Patch, crack, emulate, spoof, or reverse engineer plan verification;
- Use leaked, stolen, generated, or unauthorised access keys;
- Use COMA to operate unlawful or infringing services;
- Make false statements to obtain server setup resets, refunds, or plan changes;
- Use automation or bots to attack, test, or abuse plan servers.
11. access key Security
You are responsible for keeping your access key, account login details, server credentials, setup tokens, and related access information secure.
If your access key is leaked, stolen, publicly posted, resold, or shared without permission, we may suspend or revoke it to protect COMA and prevent misuse.
12. Subscription plans
If your plan is subscription-based, continued access may depend on active, successful, and undisputed payment.
If a payment fails, is reversed, disputed, refunded, or cancelled, COMA may suspend or revoke the associated plan or reduce access to free or limited functionality.
Cancellation of a subscription stops future billing but does not normally create a refund for the current billing period unless required by law.
13. Lifetime or One-Off plans
If COMA offers a lifetime, one-off, perpetual, or non-subscription plan, such wording refers to the lifetime of the relevant product, version, service, or plan model, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Lifetime or one-off plans remain subject to these Plan Terms and may still be suspended or revoked for breach, misuse, fraud, unauthorised transfer, payment abuse, copyright abuse, or other justified reason.
14. Updates and Compatibility
A plan does not guarantee indefinite access to all future versions, features, platforms, integrations, or updates unless expressly stated at the time of purchase.
COMA may modify, remove, replace, or introduce features, technical requirements, setup rules, plan options, and compatibility requirements over time.
15. Self-Hosted Use
COMA plans allow use of the software within the limits of the relevant plan tier. They do not authorise unlawful media use, copyright infringement, piracy, public redistribution, unauthorised streaming, or commercial media distribution.
You remain responsible for your own server, hardware, media library, network, users, security, backups, and legal compliance.
16. Commercial Use
Unless your plan expressly permits commercial use, you must not use COMA to operate a commercial streaming platform, sell access to media libraries, provide hosted services to third parties, or bundle COMA into a paid service.
Commercial use may require a separate written agreement or specific commercial plan.
17. Investigation and Enforcement
COMA may investigate suspected plan misuse, fraud, abuse, infringement, or breach of policy.
We may use plan verification records, server logs, payment records, account activity, technical server identifiers, user reports, copyright complaints, and technical evidence to support enforcement decisions.
18. Appeals or Review Requests
If your plan is suspended or revoked and you believe this was a mistake, you may contact us with your access key, purchase email, order reference, and explanation.
We may review the decision at our discretion. Submitting a review request does not guarantee reinstatement, refund, compensation, or continued access.
19. Reservation of Rights
All rights not expressly granted to you under these Plan Terms are reserved by COMA.
No implied rights are granted.
20. Changes to Plan Terms
We may update these Plan Terms periodically to reflect changes in law, technology, risk, plan models, payment systems, product features, or COMA services.
Updated versions will be published on comamediaserver.com. Continued use of COMA after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Plan Terms.
